How is phone verification done?

Phone verification makes your account more secure and gets you the "Phone Verified" badge.

Verification Steps

1. Go to My Account → Security → Phone
2. Enter your phone number (with +90 for Türkiye)
3. Press the "Send SMS" button
4. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your phone
5. Verification is complete → you get a blue badge

If the SMS Didn’t Arrive

• ⏱️ Wait 2–3 minutes
• 📶 Check your network signal
• 📱 Make sure you’re not roaming
• 🚫 Make sure an SMS filter isn’t blocking it
• 🔄 Press the "Resend" button (60-second wait)

Changing Your Phone Number

1. Click "Change Phone" on the same page
2. Enter the new number
3. An SMS is sent to the new number
4. Confirm → the old number is removed

Which Number Types Are Supported?

• ✅ Mobile: Turkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom
• ✅ International mobile numbers (limits may apply)
• ❌ Landlines
• ❌ Virtual numbers (Google Voice, etc.)
