How does the KYC (identity verification) process work?

KYC is mandatory on all platforms that provide financial services. On OyunTicareti it’s also required for selling and withdrawing money.

Required Documents

1. Front of your ID — Turkish ID card, driving licence or passport
2. Back of your ID — The back of the same document
3. Selfie — A photo of you holding the ID next to your face

Information You Need to Fill In

• Full name (as on your ID)
• National ID number (11 digits)
• Date of birth
• Address (optional but recommended)

Photo Rules

• 📸 Must be clear and legible
• 💡 Well lit
• 🚫 No blur or glare
• 📏 All 4 corners must be visible
• 📲 Photos of a phone screen are NOT ACCEPTED — it must be the real ID

Selfie Rules

• 🤳 Hold the ID beside your face
• 👁️ Your face and the ID must be in the same frame
• 😎 Don’t wear glasses or a hat
• 💡 Your face and the text on the ID must be readable

Approval Time

• ⏱️ Average: 1–3 business days
• ⚡ Sometimes it’s done the same day
• 🕐 Weekends/holidays: the first business day

Are the Documents Safe?

Yes!

• 🔐 Stored with AES-256-CBC encryption
• 👀 Only viewed temporarily during admin approval
• 🚫 Not shared with third parties
• ⏳ Only kept as required by law

Reasons for Rejection

• ❌ The document is blurry/unreadable
• ❌ Missing information
• ❌ The ID has expired
• ❌ The details don’t match the ID

If it’s rejected you’re told why; you can fix it and submit it again.
